IHOP, Pleasanton, TX, Bad Expereince with dinner - Dinner
On Monday, Aug 17, 2015, my wife and I went to have dinner at the IHOP in Pleasanton, TX. We were seated and we placed our orders. After about 15 minutes the food server informed me that the menu item I ordered was not available. I told him that was OK, that I would just have my drink while my wife had her dinner. After about another 15 minutes the General Manager came by the table to inform me that my menu choice was available after all. So I agreed to reorder it. After another 30 minutes (plus) we had not yet received our orders. I was assured by the server that our order would be out soon. The General Manager came by again and reassured me that my meal would be served very soon. A few minutes later the General Manager brought out my order. When I asked him where my wife's order was he appeared dumbfounded. So, after waiting for our orders for well over an hour, we got up and left and we are not likely to return. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE!!! (As an afterthought, maybe it was my mistake. After all, I chose a "pancake house" for an evening meal. It is now obvious to me that anything more complicated than a pancake is way out of IHOP's ability to prepare.)
